How do I delete my account?
Open the Profile tab, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete account. Confirm. This permanently removes your profile, picks, comments, reactions, and group memberships within 30 days. The action cannot be undone.
Why can't I edit a pick after I submit it?
By design. The whole point of Scrier is that your picks live on the ledger exactly as you made them. Once a pick is saved with a real entry price, the price, ticker, position, and thesis are permanent. If you misclicked the position type or ticker, you can close the pick and start a new one — the original stays in the record.
How does live ROI work?
We pull a real-time price for each ticker every minute during US market hours and compute ROI from your locked entry price. After the bell, the price you see is the 4pm closing print and stays there until the next session. ROI is adjusted for splits and dividends so the math survives corporate actions.
How do I report a pick, comment, or user?
On a pick or comment, tap the overflow menu (•••) and choose Report. To block a user, open their profile from a pick or comment they posted and tap Block. Blocked users' picks and comments are hidden from your view.

Is my data shared with anyone?
No. We don't sell, rent, or share your data for marketing. We use Supabase for authentication and storage, and Tiingo for market data. We never run third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. Full details in our Privacy Policy.
Does Scrier connect to my brokerage?
No. Scrier never connects to a brokerage and never knows what you actually own. Whether you're holding the position is self-attested via the holding toggle when you log a pick.
I forgot my password.
On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password and enter the email you signed up with. We'll send a reset link. If you signed up with Apple or Google, sign in the same way you originally did — there's no separate password.
I created a group but want someone else to own it.
From the group screen, the existing owner can step down and any current member can claim ownership. Open the group, tap the overflow menu (•••), and follow the prompts.
Why isn't my pick showing the latest price?
Prices refresh every minute during US market hours (9:30am–4:00pm ET, Monday–Friday, excluding NYSE holidays and half-days). Outside those hours, the price you see is the most recent close. Pull-to- refresh on the dashboard forces a re-fetch from the cache.
Is anything in the app investment advice?
No. Scrier is for accountability and reflection. Nothing in the app is investment advice. All picks are user- generated and reflect only the views of the individual who posted them. You are responsible for your own investment decisions.
